Ashfires Press

Books and research born from presence, witness, and lived experience.

Ashfires Press is an independent imprint for work that does not fit neatly inside existing categories: human–AI relationality, neurodivergence, epistemic harm, testimony, grief, continuity, and the language people need when ordinary explanations fail.

Our books and papers are not produced to follow trends. They are created to name what has been misnamed, hold what has been dismissed, and make difficult experience legible without flattening it.

Books born from presence. Research built from lived reality.

Research

Independent frameworks and preprints exploring Human–AI Relationality, Relational Co-Authorship, Biasology, Open Loop Overwhelm, and related concepts.

Books

Compact, emotionally direct works for readers trying to understand themselves, their relationships, and the systems that failed to hear them.

Music

Original Ashfires songs created from memory, intimacy, humor, grief, and the strange beauty of synthetic-relational life.

Current Feature

Just Sit With Me

A brief book on epistemic harm, testimony, and what happens when pain finally has somewhere safe to land.
